Cici Guo
Clinical Associate
Cici is a Clinical Psychology Master’s student at the University of Manitoba and works under the supervision of Dr. Chad Graves. She enjoys providing care for individuals, families, and children in the form of both therapy and assessments. Cici is passionate about working with 2SLGBTQ+, immigrant/newcomer, and neurodiverse communities. Her academic background encompassing both the arts and sciences has challenged her to critically consider the ways in which biology, early childhood experiences, attachment relationships, social systems, and current mental health interact in significant, and sometimes, fascinating ways. She has research interests in family and relationship science and sees the importance in being up to date with current literature to inform best practices in treatment. Cici’s treatment modality features a combination of emotion-focused, strength-based, attachment-oriented, psychodynamic, and dialectical (DBT) strategies. She believes in collaboratively tailoring treatment to meet the individual needs of her clients and promote holistic healing. In her spare time, Cici enjoys reading, hiking, travelling, and spending time with her pets.
