Rob George, M.Ed.
Clinical Associate


As a clinical associate, Rob George works under the direct supervision of Dr. Abdulrehman. He has extensive understanding, training, and experience in the areas of learning disabilities, behavioural disorders, autism spectrum disorder, stress, anxiety and their impact within the home and school/post-secondary environments. He also has a strong history of experience conducting neuropsychological and bilingual psycho-educational assessments and uses this experience to help clients developed and work through school-based prevention, programming and intervention for difficulties related to learning. He is passionate about working in the area of mental health and supporting the individuals he works with, always looking for innovative ways to reduce barriers by helping others to fulfill their potential. Rob offers services in both English and French.

As a provincially certified School Psychologist Rob has been an advocate for children, youth, and their families both in the English and French Immersion public and private school systems for over 15 years. Rob received his master’s degree in School Psychology from the University of British Columbia and holds additional diplomas in education and business administration from the University of Manitoba and the Université de Saint-Boniface. His work and studies have taken him across Canada and into diverse and remote northern Indigenous communities. His multidisciplinary collaborative projects have been recognized and featured by Microsoft Corp., International Dyslexia Association (IDA – Ontario), l’Association canadienne des professionnels de l’immersion (ACPI), Manitoba Teacher’s Society (MTS), Éducatrices et éducateurs francophones du Manitoba (EFM), Winnipeg Free Press, National Post, and Dyslexia Canada.

Rob also serves as a sessional instructor and thesis advisor in the Faculty of Education at the Université de Saint-Boniface, field-based practicum school psychologist and career mentor for the University of Manitoba. Rob has also served as a Board member for the Centre de Santé.”
